FOMO is the abbreviation for the phrase "feeling of missing out," and can be defined as "anxiety that an interesting or exciting event may be occurring elsewhere."

Founded by artists Taryn Walker and Gina Luke in 2017, the FOMO Artist Collective aims to create new media site specific work that activates space and curates an environment in which the viewer is invited to engage in a reflective dialogue around contemporary millennial life, as well as what it means to be a digital citizen. FOMO creates installation works using video, drawing, animation, and projection, in a way that results in a visually stimulating and often immersive experience for the viewer.
